The former Erie Molded Plastics and its EMP Closures division recently rebranded themselves as a single entity Erie Molded Packaging (EMP). The company’s new name better reflects its diverse capabilities to provide a line of standard caps and closures as well as custom packaging solutions to industries from global CPG to regional food manufacturers. The rebranding effort coincides with the company investing over $4 million in new equipment and senior managers over the past two years designed to facilitate a growth in sales of 77% while maintaining their industry-best lead times.
