Phil Tredway - President and CEO
In 1982 our current President and CEO, Phil Tredway, moved back to his hometown of Erie, PA to raise his family and start his own business. He quickly realized that plastics industry related assets that the community of Erie offered made it an opportune area to start an injection molding company. That same year Erie Molded opened its doors with four employees, two presses and a rented warehouse. Our initial business was supported through overflow work from local molders.
As time passed we began to establish our own relationships with customers and our business started to grow. With hard work and dedication from our entire organization we outgrew the warehouse and moved our operations to our current location on Erie’s “miracle mile”, West Ridge Road, in 1987.
Over the years we have grown into a 35,000 square foot facility with twenty-two presses and 50 employees. We operate with three shifts running twenty-four hours per day.
