Erie Molded Plastics, Inc. is a manufacturer of high quality plastic injection molded parts. Twenty-five years ago the current owner and CEO Phil Tredway started our company in a warehouse with two presses and four employees. We have since grown to twenty-two presses, thirty-six employees and have proudly been supplying high quality, on time, competitively priced parts for a variety of industries.
Our facility is conveniently located in Erie, Pennsylvania and offers the finest equipment and working conditions available in our industry. We have designed our plant from the ground up to create an ideal molding environment, and we are committed to continually reinvesting capital in the newest of most innovative technologies. Our molding facility is air conditioned and dehumidified to provide a consistent molding environment year round. We leverage the resources of the Erie community as an area with a vast network of plastics related companies. Erie Molded also recognizes that we are competing in a global market place, and to the end we have established reliable overseas sources for both tooling and molding.
In 2005 we announced our first proprietary item, a 110-400 closure. We anticipate this to be the first of many stock closures we will offer to our customers.
